THE FINALS: RTE Ep.3 - SEEDING REVEAL

Hey Contestants,

It’s officially time to reveal the team seeding for The Grand Major 2025!

After a long and intense journey that began with over 1,600 teams competing across the globe, we’ve narrowed it down to the final 16 who will battle it out in Stockholm this November.

With that in mind, we are now excited to announce the seeding for the teams on “The Grand Major - Day One”;

Teams have been seeded into three tiers based on their performance during the closed qualifier stage:
Tier 1 - Qualified during the first round.
Tier 2 - Qualified during Phase 2.
Alternative Tier - Invited or qualified through alternative means.
Tiebreakers are handled via Phase cashout amount and final round amount.

Teams are snake-seeded to finalize the bracket.

Bracket & Format Update

Sharp-eyed fans may notice a few changes from earlier posts and videos. To accommodate the number of matches while respecting venue hours, we’ve slightly condensed the format, which also includes select games moving to a B-stream.

Day 2 will be divided into two stages: Phase 1 and THE FINALS.

During Phase 1, teams will compete in a Hybrid Elimination format. Four teams will be eliminated, while four will advance - earning their spot in THE FINALS.

In THE FINALS, the top four teams will face off in a Hybrid Matchpoint system. Each final round win earns one point. Be the first team to reach five points, and you’ll be crowned The Grand Major Champion!
